Bangkok-Bhutan-Hua Hin
This tour starts daily from Bangkok.
This tour will take you to experience the highlights of Bhutan with a start in Bangkok, also known as the ‘City of Angels’. This large and modern city nevertheless retains its old ways and history allowing a couple of relaxing days to rest from the flight before the adventure to Bhutan begins.
Leaving Bangkok, we will take a return flight to Bhutan finish our tour on the beaches of Hua Hin favoured by the Elite from Bangkok where you will overnight in the 5 Star Hilton Hua Hin directly on the beach.
In Thailand all overland arrangements via air conditioned mini bus. From Bangkok to Bhutan via flight. In Bhutan transportation via airconditioned minibus with driver and guide.
Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok, free day,
You will arrive in Thailand via Suvarnabhumi Airport where our driver will be awaiting you at the arrival hall holding a sign with your name. He will take you directly to your hotel. The rest of the day you are free to relax and recuperate from your flight.
Day 2: Bangkok free day.
Today a free day to go exploring Bangkok or book one of our tours in and around Bangkok, contact us or visit our website for the possibilities to make this an unforgettable day.
Day 3: Bangkok
Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Bhutan.
Arrival Paro Airport (West Bhutan). You`ll be received at the Paro airport by our company representative.
Sightseeing in Paro:
-Druk Choeding Monastery built in 1525,
-Dungtse Monastery built in 1421,
-National Museum and
-Paro Dzong, ancient castle fortress built in 1645.
Therafter drive to Thimphu (about an hour drive / 63 kms). En-route visit the Tamchogang Monastery with the Iron-chain approach bridge.

Day 04: Thimphu sightseeing
Thimphu sightseeing:
-Memorial Stupa built in memory of the late third king of Bhutan,
-Buddha Point where we have one of the world`s biggest statue of Lord Buddha and
-15th century Changankha Monastery,
-Takins (national animal of Bhutan) zoo,
-Enjoy special program of Traditional Folk Music/Masked Dances and
-Visit the Craft Market where you`ll find diverse collection of Bhutan hand-made products. Overnight hotel in Thimphu.
Day 05:
Morning drive to Punakha/Wangdi Valley (about 3 hrs. drive / 73 kms). The drive will take you via the Dochula Pass (3150 mtrs. altitude). A wide range of the east Himalayan Mountains are visible from the Pass on a clear sky. Also at the Pass are the 108 Druk Wangyal Stupas and the Druk Wangyal Monastery built by the Royal Queen-mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck. En-route visit the Royal Botanical Garden at Lamperi. In Punakha visit the historic and magnificent Punakha Dzong built in 1637. It was at the Punakha Dzong where the first hereditary king of Bhutan (Gongsa Ugyen Wangchuck) was enthroned on 17th Dec. 1907. En-route short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, a special monastery for fertility. The hike trial will take you via village houses and rice/millet fields. Evening at leisure. Day 06:
Morning short drive north of Punakha Valley and hike (about 45 mins. hike one way) to the Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Stupa beautifully built and located on a spur of hill overlooking the Punakha valley. The Stupa was built by the Queen-mother of Bhutan (Our present King`s mother). Thereafter drive to Paro (about 4 hrs. drive / 132 kms).

Day 07:
Morning hike or horse-riding to the Tiger`s Nest Monastery (Taktsang) which is perched on a cliff 800 mtrs. above Paro valley. Afternoon visit the 7th century Kyichu Monastery. Evening visit to a Traditional Bhutanese Farm House where you`ll be served traditional salt/butter tea, snacks made from rice/maize and locally brewed liquor. Also at the Farm House enjoy Traditional Hot-stone Bath and dinner. If interested, you may also learn to cook local cuisine and enjoy it over dinner. Overnight hotel in Paro
Day 08:
Transfer to Paro airport for you flight back to Bangkok after your unforgettable journey through Bhutan. Arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok where our driver awaits you to transfer you to the Hilton Hua Hin. Overnight in The Hilton Hua Hin.
Day 09:
Relaxation in Hua Hin.
