Day 01: HANOI – ARRIVAL (-/-/-)
After your Arrival at Noi Bai Airport, our guide will meet you and start our tour to discover Hanoi, a peaceful city with beautiful trees and lakes, the city has thousand years of history and culture. Drive pass by the French Quarter, whick explains why this city so called “Paris of the East” before visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside) – the symbol of the country and is a monumental marble edifice from materials gathered all around Vietnam between 1973 – 1975. This monument contains the sarcophagus of Ho Chi Min, than off to the Presidential Palace and Presidential Gardens, built between 1900 to 1906. The Palace and Grounds were built to house the French Governor-General of Indochina. His House on Stilts, used today for official receptions and One Pillar Pagoda, one of the most special architectures in Vietnam built in 1049AD. Then visit Temple of Literature – the central of culture of Hanoi. After we are done in this area will visit the Old Quarter of Hanoi to discover the local people life via a cycling tour.
In the evening, enjoy the world famous Water puppets show, the unique Vietnam traditional art from Red River Delta with great influence from Wet rice cultivation culture.

Day 02: FULL DAY TO TAY PHUONG PAGODA AND DUONG LAM VILLAGE (B/L/-)
After breakfast our guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and we start off the day with a one hour drive to Tay Phuong, one of ten most beautiful pagodas in Vietnam. Located on the top of the hill, this pagoda is very famous for the collection of Buddha and Arhat statues from 17th century and its great architecture. Then take 45 minutes bike ride to the rural area around the Pagoda through green rice fields and local villages. This will give you a chance to discover the daily life of the people of the Red River Delta where you can interact with the local people to get a true sense of the atmosphere of the rural life in Vietnam.
When we are done in the village we will head back to the car for our drive to the ancient village of Duong Lam, the place so called “Hoi An of the Red River Delta” where many of the houses and buildings have been untouched for hundreds of years. As you walk along tiny ancient alleys, visit Communal House in Mong Phu hamlet – the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact and is dedicated to national heroes, you will truly think that you have walked back in time.
Our lunch today is hosted in a traditional atmosphere in the most ancient house in the villae of Mr. Huyen. After lunch we will take a bike ride in the rural area around this village. Our last stop is at another ancient house from Mr. Huyen dating back to 1649 before we drive back to Hanoi.

JOIN TOUR HANOI – HALONG 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT
Day 03: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel.
Between 07h45-08h30: a Shuttle bus from Halong cruise will pick you up in teh lobby of your hotel hotel and depart to Halong bay through the Red River Delta. Upon arrival to Halong, embark on your Junk boat and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the picturesque “Dragon descending to the sea” Bay with its 1,969 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes.
After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with our Junk and other boats, go swimming on a quite beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with fisher men who have been living in the bay for almost three generations.
At sunset time, take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset before dinner.
Overnight on the Junk.

Day 04: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L/-)
Breakfast then visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. After lunch on board, check out and Shuttle bus transfer you back to Hanoi.

Day 05: HANOI – DEPARTURE (B/-/-) No guide
Breakfast at hotel. At leisure until transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure flight (check out hotel before 12h00).
