River Kwai Jungle Rafts

This is the first and original award winning floating resort in Kanchanaburi. The floating rafts are built out of wood and bamboo and there is no electricity in the resort. Lighting is done via oil lamps providing a unique and stunning sight to behold in the evening. Every room has its own toilet, shower and balcony on the river with a hang mat to enjoy nature at its fullest in total relaxation while watching the river.

The floating restaurant and bar-lobby lounge are great ways to unwind with a drink overlooking the river. The resort is near a Mon village which is interesting to visit and get immersed into the culture of this hill tribe from Myanmar. In the evening the children from the local Mon village dressed in their traditional clothing come to perform their traditional dance. Tickets (250 Baht per person)can be obtained from us at the time of booking this amazing floating resort.

The resort is only reachable via long tail boat and the return transfer is included at specific times during the day.
