Ayutthaya and Bang Pa Inn Day Tour BK-003

Our guide will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel between 06.00 – 06.15 to start your journey back into history.

Our drive to Bang Pa Inn is about 76 kilometers. Originally this was an Island in the river and was originally built by Prasat Thong when he became the king of Ayutthaya (16.30 – 16.55) and later became summer Palace of King Rama V and today we will visit different pavilions and mansions from this area. The setting is in a beautiful landscaped gardens with much flora, fauna and water fountains.

We will continue to Ayuthaya and our first stop is at Wat Yai Chaimongkol built by King U-Thong in 1357 for medication purposes and an ancient monastery. Our next stop is at Wat Phra Si Sanphet, this was the most important temple with the grounds of the Royal Palace and corresponds to the Emerald Buddha temple in the Grand Palace Bangkok.

After our lunch we will stop at Wat Mahathat, located on the city Island and constructed around 1374. After this we will drive back to Bangkok where you will arrive in your hotel around 16.30.
