River Kwai Jungle Raft 3 Days and 2 Night JR 102
This is the first and original award winning floating resort in Kanchanaburi. The floating rafts are built out of wood and bamboo and there is no electricity in the resort. Lighting is done via oil lamps providing a unique and stunning sight to behold in the evening. Every room has its own toilet, shower and balcony on the river with a hang mat to enjoy nature at its fullest in total relaxation while watching the river.
Day 1:
Between 06.00 – 06.15 we will pick you up in the lobby of any major hotel in the Bangkok downtown area for our departure to Kanchanaburi province (128 km. to the west of Bangkok).
Around 09.00 we arrive in Kanchanaburi and our first visit will be to the Thailand–Burma Railway Centre an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand– Burma Railway. The fully air–conditioned center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience. When we are finished here we will visit the Allied War Cemetery which is a memorial to some 6000 allied prisoners of war (POWs) who perished along the death railway line and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place. From here to the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death railway and made famous by the movie “The Bridge over the River Kwai”.
Around 12.00 we will take a long–tailed boat on the River Kwai to River Kwai Jungle Rafts. Check–in and have Lunch upon arrival.
After lunch, around 14.45 we will take a long–tailed boat downstream to Resotel Pier and continue on road to visit the Hellfire Pass Memorial. This famous cutting for the Death railway was built with forced labor under incredible harsh conditions by the allied prisoners of war. Hellfire is so called because the sight of the emaciated prisoners laboring at night by torchlight. Then return to the rafts
Dinner followed by a 45–minute presentation of traditional Mon Dance and overnight at the River Kwai Jungle Rafts.
Day 2
07.00 Breakfast after breakfast around 08.30 we will Visit nearby ethnic Mon Tribal Village and to do a jungle trekking (optional tour: Elephant ride). The rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy the floating resort. There are also optional excursions that you can book for the remainder of this day.
Day 3
07.00 Breakfast and check out at 11.00. After check out we will take the boat back to where our bus is waiting for us. Around 11.40 we will stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, around 13.00 we will take a historic ride on Death Railway Train passing over an original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs. At 14.30, transfer back to your hotel in Bangkok.
Cost: 7,400 Baht per person based on two persons sharing one room. Child: 5.500 sharing room with parents without extra bed. Single person surcharge: 1.500 Baht.

The program is the same as above but instead of the transfer to Bangkok it includes the transfer to Hua Hin, two night accommodation at The Rock (including ABF) and a transfer back to Bangkok at the end of the two days. The surcharge would be 6.950 Baht based on two persons sharing one room, single surcharge would be 4.900 Baht.
